We believe that the relief of pain should be a fundamental objective of any health service.

How we can help

This site gives a brief overview of our areas of expertise, including therapies and procedures. For more detailed information please click: www.thepainclinic.co.uk
Unfortunately chronic pain is a reality for lots of people of all age groups, limiting the enjoyment of even the simplest of pleasures. Promising careers are affected and travel can be difficult.
The Pain Clinic realises that despite its best intentions our struggling National Health Service is not always in a position to adequately, or timely, address the comprehensive treatment required to help with the control, or cure, of pain. Sufferers being treated by the NHS often have to wait a seemingly long time to receive satisfactory pain management and even in the private sector there is often a disjointed and expensive succession of specialists to be seen.
The Pain Clinic exists to offer all of our patients a cohesive personal plan to address all aspects of their pain condition.

We can help with the following conditions:

What's involved?

You do not necessarily need a doctors referral to consult us, but we would encourage a brief relevant medical history from your GP.
When you contact The Pain Clinic, we will arrange for one of our registered Pain Management Sisters to call you back to discuss your condition and current treatment. She will then make an early appointment for you to meet one of our Pain Specialists. Should you have mobility difficulties we can arrange comfortable transport and for those with other medical conditions we have a paramedic accompanied service.
The Specialist will advise you of the available courses of treatment and together with the nursing staff will draw up your own Personal Treatment Pathway (PTP).
We have excellent facilities should your PTP call for a pain relieving procedure.
